Aavishkar Katti

Hi! I am Aavishkar Katti, a passionate researcher of Optics.

I have done my Ph.D in Physics at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India which is an institution of national importance. I completed my Masters in Physics at India's prestigious University of Delhi, Delhi with a specialization in Lasers and Spectroscopy.

Currently, I work as Assistant Professor in the School of Physics at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. I have been previously associated with the Department of Physics at Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, India as an Assistant Professor. My current research interests include theoretical non-linear optics. In particular, I am investigating spatial solitons in photorefractive materials, photonic lattices, photonic crystals etc.
